Our purpose is to prepare to work as professional television journalists by applying the principles taught in the television workshop and adhering to the ethics policy of the University of Kings College and, in doing so, to also serve the Eastlink audience in the HRM and our online audience by informing, enlightening, challenging and, occasionally, entertaining them about new developments and concerns in our region.
Our season of the ‘fax will distinguish itself by its gritty locations, youthful but professional hosting style and a daring story selection that emphasizes groups and issues that tend to be underreported in the mainstream media.
